Current Mood: Feeling well-read
In the blink of eye, this six year old has gone from reading board books to fourth grade level chapter books, easily sounding out words like “memorial” and “inference”. Who is this kid?!
Finishing a story provides a huge sense of accomplishment, and Evie is eager to share her new skillset. So, of course, we weren’t surprised when she asked if she could read a story or two on video.
“The Day the Crayons Quit,” by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers, is a perennial fave with kids and adults alike. Enjoy this uniquely Evie-fied rendition.
